The Shibori print is part of a commission to award-winning UK textile artist Jane Callender, a specialist in indigo dyed shibori. Using the nui shibori technique, which is about creating designs by stitching and gathering with limitless options, Callender created designs that Merlette translated into digital repeat patterns on our signature pima lawn cotton. The original pieces she created are true works of art and we are thrilled to have her permission to reproduce them for this limited-edition collection.
